The funding programs listed below are based on three types of situation where we can factor or purchase a portion of your legal fee. Legal Fee Factoring is used for Settled Cases. Pre Settlement and Appeal cases are handled separately as discussed below.
A.
Settled Cases: If you have settled a legal claim and are waiting
to receive the proceeds then Global will purchase a portion of the fee
at a discount to the full value of the fee. This is similar to factoring
on business receivables; however we use your legal fee as the receivable
asset. Our fees on discounts can range from 4% to 15% depending on the
exact situation.
B. Pre Settlement Cases: If you represent a plaintiff
in a legal claim that is still pending then we will review the claim in
full and advance you a portion of the legal fee we anticipate you to receive.
Liability, Damages & Causation in the claim must all be clear. Upon
receiving your application we will request documentation supporting the
claim and give you an answer within 48 hours. We usually charge a one
time flat fee for the transaction.
C. Appellate Case: If you have received a judgment for
your client and the case has been put on appeal or is pending appeal then
we can advance you a portion of the anticipated legal fee. Again, we will
need to review documentation supporting the claim before purchasing a
portion of the anticipated fee.
